System 6.0.2/Switcher compatibility?

This question is for a friend of mine.  He has a Mac+ with 1 meg, not
enough to take advantage of Multifinder, so he has continued to use 
Switcher.  The other day he installed System 6.0.2 on his machine, and
since then, every time he tries to use the Switcher, his system crashes.
Does anyone out there know if Switcher is now incompatible with the new
system?  Does anyone at Apple still support Switcher?
