I think that _some_ division of this group would be good. Perhaps not the 8-10 categories originally suggested, but may 3-4. Perhaps comp.sys.mac.hardware could be one, as was suggested. I see the arguments against splitting the group, but even scanning and deciding on 50-70 new notes _each day_ is a bit of work.
