I have used Version 5.0 of SuperSpool from SuperMac Software and it has
worked flawlessly printing MS-Word 3.01 documents in the background.
It also handles background printing of RSG 4.0a, Microphone II MacNet and  
even MockPrinter tasks in the background (up to MockPrinter_s 28K
ceiling.  It does tend to slow foreground tasks down a bit, but what do
you expect.  The price is right and I am very happy with it.
