VCR backup

I recently plunked down a lot of cash (/plastic) for a IIx, a 100Meg Jasmine,
and a Sony HiFi VHS VCR.

Two weeks later, the Jasmine is over 50% full, and I find that I don't
really watch TV anymore...

Does anyone know of a SCSI adapter (or Gnu-BUS, I suppose) that will allow me
to use the VCR as a backup device? The Sony has an S-BUS connector
for control signals, so what I really want is for the adapter to utilise
the S-BUS so that I don't have to manually interact with the VCR, other than
to insert the tape.

Replies to me, summary (if warranted) to follow...
