The availability of a virtual memory init package for the mac II and
the soon availability of the same for the 68030 based IIx and SE/30
makes me wonder:

Is it possible to upgrade a Mac II to a pseudo IIx by dropping in
a 68030 in place of the processor? If so, I'd rather do this then
add a PMU. Is there a wait state saving? Whats the current price
  for 030s?

I wasn't planning on doing anything until I needed/could afford/liked
A/UX or the Mac OS really supported multitasking, but this init, if
proved out in the trenches, could change my mind real fast.
