dumping Mac graphics to video

Does anyone on the net have any experience with dumping Macintosh graphics to
a VCR? My understanding is that there is some hardware out there to take the
RS232 signal and convert it to NTSC for input into a video device (e.g. video
recorder). I was curious as to the price of these units and the quality of the
transfer. I realize one must expect a loss in resolution going to video but
that is not really an issue in my particular case. Thanks in advance for any
information on this subject.
