The newest version of Antipan is 1.1 and a few file sizes in Laura's list (Repair, RWatcher, Interferon) don't match with my samples. File size is especially not too useful with files like VirusDetective which is configurable and which stores that configuration in its resource fork. I also know of two german nVIR removers (EntVir and AntiVirus), and there are french counterparts, too. What I don't really understand is why people build virus remover collections. Some time ago, a dealer told me he was running twelve virus detectors every day, to be sure that his disk was clean. Most virus detector applications share the same detection algorithm. Running'em all is not necessary. I'd rather choose one or two single, stable programs, but use them regularly. -- Danny Schwendener ETH Macintosh Support
