MACs in foreign countries

I am taking a small business class in which our class has to come up
with a plan to export a product to another country. My group chose the
MAC for our project. What I need is technical info on what exactly
would be involved in changing a MAC (or any computer, really) to run
in another country. For instance, I know the keyboard would have to
be changed to include non-english characters (or completely re-done
for countries like China or Japan). I assume that there is a keyboard
chip that would also have to be replaced also.

I would appreciate any info on what it would take to make a MAC
"speak" another language and rough estimates of the cost.

Thanks
Dan
