I have a friend who is a professional musician and who wants to get a MAC to help him with clerical and musical chores. Among these is his need to send out notices to the people on his mailing list. Is there a *simple* program for doing this? He also wants to write business letters (record companies, etc) on the MAC, and therefore needs letter quality output (Image Writer output won't do...). Any recs on the cheapest way of doing this (grappler + daisy wheel? grappler+ desk jet? grappler + 24 pin printer -- is this really LQ? Immage Writer LQ -- ditto)? I sugessted that he buy a MAC+ and a printer over a PC.
