I just happened to call the Claris update 800 number today.  The woman I spoke
with noted that they were just now sending out a mass mailing to registered
users of MacWrite 5.0 about the upgrade to MacWrite II.

By the way, Claris is now adding on your own state's sales taxes to your
orders!  No fun...
