In article <2860@cps3xx.UUCP> rang@cpswh.cps.msu.edu (Anton Rang) writes: Long posting on copy protection and piracy, especially in school/ university situations. On the other hand, I phoned one publisher (I think it was Silicon Beach about SuperPaint) to ask about multiple licenses for their product. They told me they weren't concerned about it if I was going to make less than 20 copies and to go ahead and do so. I thought that a nice, relaxed attitude to take. If publishers really want people to take seriously the prospect of buying multiple licenses, they should establish a clear procedure for doing so and make these licenses relatively cheap. Otherwise, the status quo will continue. Steve Goldfield
