PageMaker 3.02 gets corrupted

I have been having a problem with PageMaker 3.02 on a Mac SE w/20MB
system 6.03 I believe.  Every now and then the PageMaker application
file gets corrupted.  The file size and modification date changes.  The
date obviously changes to the date and time that the modification happens,
and if I remember correctly the size increases by about 1 or 2 K.

I called Aldus Tech support, and they suggested that this probelm might be
related to having installed PageMaker with GateKeeper 1.1.1 turned on.  I
would like to get more opinions on this subject before I believe this one.
If anyone has experience this type of problem, or has any insights, please
post or respond via E-mail.  If you need more information, I will get it
for you. Thanks for your help.
