SafeEject needed with 6.0.4?

Is it redundant to use SafeEject with system 6.0.4 on an SE with the old
(sigh) 800K disk drive? I know that the FDHD drives are self-centering,
but what about the 800Ks with the new system?

I think this has taken bandwidth before, so sorry about the repost. I'll
be glad to summarize e-mail responses if others are interested.
