Yeah, DM is smarter, plus you can't catch WDEF when using it (make sure you
delete your old Desktop file, though, and if you startup from a non-DM
source you'll get new Desktop files created).

I know BundAid works, but I haven't used Fix Desktop.

Not that I'm aware of... I use Redux also, and it just treats the Desktop
files just like normal, invisible files.
