MaxAppleZoom and Mac IIci (problems)

I have a Mac IIci with built in graphics controller and an Apple Color
monitor, when I installed MaxAppleZoom it didn't work in the Control
Panel it said that MAZ didn't work with this system. 
Any body knows why? is there an email for the author?
