You could always grab another machine for the IIe card. I see LCs
around quite often for around AU$10. I've also seen a lot of 475s
around at the swap meets lately. Generally with ethernet cards for
around AU$20.

I started with one of these 475s. With 4MB ram Sys 7.5.3 was pretty
unusable. Upgrading to 12MB was better, but internet apps (such as
netscape 3) were pretty unstable. 20MB was much better. A full 040
also helps. My 475 started with an LC040, 4MB ram and a 250MB hdd,
since then I've upgraded it to a full 040 @ 33Mhz, 36MB ram and a
500MB hdd.

If for whatever reason you don't want to get another machine you could
add an SCSI ethernet adapter to your 475 and still keep the IIe card
in the PDS slot. I've got 1 around somewhere that I eventually plan
to use on my Mac Plus.
