If you encounter bad blocks on an IDE drive there must be another problem, or the dive is totally defective. -Thomas andrew winter <andy@arch.usyd.edu.au> wrote: > I've now had 3 Apple IDE HDs fail with bad blocks (Drive Setup claims it > was interupted, disk errors when copying files from a known good source). > > Can anyone recommend a utility (shareware or commercial) that will mask > bad blocks in an IDE HD in a mac?
