I need the network's help on a question with the memory for the Mac IIci.
As I understand it the IIci comes with 80ns fast page RAM. If you want to
upgrade the memory you can use normal 80ns RAM, but you will not get the
speed enhancement of the fast page process. What I need to know is does
anybody know where I can purchase the fast page 80ns RAM 1MB SIMMs. I can
get them from Apple but the price is just way out of line. I called up Dove
and Clearpoint to see if they were distributing the SIMMs I was looking for
but all they could tell me is that they were 80ns RAM and should work in the
IIci. Can anybody help me?
Thanks,
Brian Moore
