Does anyone know of a print spooler that works with the DeskWriter?
(or a planned future print spooler?).

p.s. I just got a deskwriter (yesterday).  So far I'm very happy with
it.  It has worked without any hitches (unlike the Laserjet IIP with
MacPrint) and the print quality is very nice.  The only problem I've
had is that the ink can smudge if you don't let it dry for a few seconds
before handling it.
