Recovering Pagemaker Files?

Does anyone know of a way of recovering data from a damaged PageMaker 3
file? Actually the file isn't 'damaged'. I used 'Save' when I meant to
use 'Save as...'. The result is I saved a document with 2 pages over a
document that had 40 something pages. The file however is still 1.7MB
big, so I assume that most of the information is in there somewhere.
The question is can I get at it? If anyone knows of a way of doing this
(maybe there's a recovery app that might be able to do something?)
I will be very grateful (as I'm sure you can imagine, and no there isn't
a backup!).
