Whereas a few months ago a form for a free copy of the Macintosh Yellow Pages was posted to the net, I had no qualms -- any commercial company who wants to give away its products or product support for free is fine by me. A recent posting by Laura Marmorstein (lmarmors@athena.mit.edu) offered a form for people to send in for 40% off the $40 commercial price of the Macintosh Yellow Pages. This seems to me blatant commercialism and has no place on the net. Product announcements, information, etc., are fine, but not the posting of order forms. I feel that steps over the bounds.
