There's a new version of the InterFax software that will save
uncompressed TIFF. The Caere people, makers of OmniPage, also
addressed this problem in a rev; it will now opened compressed TIFF.

Finally, if you want to upgrade neither of the two, DeskPaint works
just swimmingly: it opens the compressed TIFF and saves uncompressed.
