Have you noticed that every time you call up a Standard File dialog (e.g., by choosing Open within an application), the list of files is in alphabetical order and it is positioned with the first file at the top of the little window. Well, SFScrollInit makes the system remember where you were the last time you looked in that folder with Standard File, and puts you back in the same place. So you don't have to scroll through the list every time. Doesn't sound like much, but one can sure get sick of scrolling through the list. John Doner doner@henri.ucsb.edu
