From article <107154@sun.Eng.Sun.COM>, by shiffman%basselope@Sun.COM (Hank Shiffman): >I like the idea for this developer's CD and all, but didn't Apple think >of all of us who DON'T have a CD-ROM player? They evidently did, in this months devleoper packet, along with the Excellent CD, came an offer for a pretty good price on the CD SC. Aditionally, it would be pretty difficult (read costly) for Apple to distribute 100+ floppies. 100 floppies is not even close to enough space to handle the capacity of one CD. It is regrettable, but how else to distribute the amount of data in a cost effective manner? Me, my CD is on order ;^) ___________________________________________________________ Randy Thompson uunet!smsdpg!rht SMS Data Products Group, Inc. - or - 703/648-9400 rht@smsdpg.UUCP ___________________________________________________________
