VIRTUAL vs. Interleaf Publisher

Tying together two popular threads in this group, I just tried to run
Interleaf Publisher with VIRTUAL installed. It won't run. Very early
in its startup, Interleaf complains that the memory configuration is
unacceptable. It suggests turning off the control panel cache and
checking the amount of physical memory installed.

Interleaf's Tech Support rep was very friendly (probably helps that we
went to the same school, edited the same yearbook, know lots of the
same people, and have very similar views of the Charles from our
offices), but didn't hold out much hope for official support. He did
say that Interleaf is strongly urging Apple to support virtual memory.
He'll call me back after talking to the developers about Interleaf -
VIRTUAL compatibility.
