Lode Runner on an SE/30

I've been using Lode Runner (v1.0) on an SE/30 with moderate success.
It seems that whenever I click the mouse in the main window I get a
system crash or under MultiFinder, a LodeRunner has unexpectedly quit.

Clicks in the menus and dialog boxes are fine, its just the main
window (whether it's the startup screen, game screen, or editor screen)
that has problems. The way things are now, I can play using keyboard
controls, but editing screen is impossible.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this (is there a new version?)
