tray toggle for Personal LaserWriter NTR

Hi Everyone,

We recently bought and installed the optional paper-tray base and letter-size
paper casette in our Apple LaserWriter NTR. The casette works fine except
that it doesn't toggle between the built-in manual (universal) tray (i.e.
even when there is paper on the built-in tray, or the paper casette being
pull out, the printer won't switch to use the manual tray automatically).
Selecting the "Manual Feed" option in Print works, but it is not as
convenient if the printer will switch trays automatically.

Does anyone know any tricks to get the Personal LaserWriter NTR to toggle
the trays automatically? (e.g. send PostScript to modify the EPROM settings)
I have seen PostScript printers that supports tray-switching commands but
I believe those commands are not generic adobe PostScript. Any help will
be greatly appreciated.

Andy
