This is a just FYI type of post. Please don't post followups to all the groups.

In their March and April mailers Mac's Place ran an add for the CalComp Drawing Slate
and Painter 3. The add stated the following " A great graphics tablet and painter at 
a great price!" it then stated some stuff about the Drawing Slate then it stated, their
caps on free not mine "Includes FREE Painter 3 drawing software."

The add then had stats on the Drawing slate. Then came the price. Drawing Slate and
Painter3 bundle only $429.95, or Drawing Slate alone for $179.95. So I called 
Mac's Place at 1-800-905-0009 and asked what the FREE Painter 3 software was that
came with the Drawing Slate.  After a Week of runarounds what I got told was " Gee
we had had a typo in the add for 2 months and cannot honor our price."

If you don't believe me look at page 24 of either the March or April catalog.

Then Call Mac's Place and let them know you want the Free Painter software that is in
the add. When they tell you no, ask for extension 2065 and tell Andrew Hall that you
read about this on the internet so that next time they run a, in my opinion, false 
add and get told that it will be exposed across the internet that it will indeed be seen by hundreds of people.
