Just bought something from ONSALE.COM. Their announcement said product was
"NEW"  and I bid accordingly but when it arrived the boxes were clearly
marked "REFURB". E-mailing them about the problem has not yet elicited
response.

Caveat emptor.

I have had mixed luck with purchases from OnSale as well. BUT the one
thing I know for certain is that they have NEVER bothered to answer ANY of
my emails regarding purchases (and usualy re my being overcharged).
