Query about the Amstrad 1512

The Amstrad 1512.

Does any one have something to share about this machine? IBM
compatibility, reliability, utility, etc.? At $650 bundled with
software, mouse, lightpen capability, and other goodies, it seems more
attractive than a Taiwanese clone. What differences might the 8086
cause in running software or in trying to use hardware designed for
the IBM?

I was considering buying one with the color monitor.
