Please Reply to: engel@gdstech.grumman.com, or by phone to John at (516) 346-2892. Does anyone out there have any comments on their favorite (or least favorite) hardware accelerator for ASIC designs? Relevant points: o I am designing an ASIC wih about 1K of dual port RAMS, 5K Flip-Flops, and 60K gates of random logic. o I need to do both logic simulation and fault simulation. Which accelerator did you choose? Why? Were there any particular benefits or problems? How was customer support? If there is interest, I can post a summary of what responses I get. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any other newsgroups that this request better suited; if you know of one, that would be appreciated too! Thanks!! John Whitson Grumman Aircraft Systems Corp.
