The public domain "C compiler" available on the Motorola BBS is
junk. It's a version of "Tiny C", a C subset compiler from a Byte
article in the early 1980s. It wasn't working code when I tried it.
There's a commercial C for the M68HC11 (compiles on a PC) but it's
several thousand dollars. There's also a Forth for the machine,
from New Micros in Austin, but it's slow, about 40K Forth words
per second tops.
