In article 9027@newsgate.sps.mot.com, nahaym@soleil.tmc.edu (Michael Nahay) writes: >Does anyone know if it is possible to read and write >amiga disks on a Sun or HP workstation? > This is not possible. The way I transfer files between AMIGA and SUN is by using MS-DOS format disks, which can be read/written on both systems Use Cross Dos or Messy-DOS (on FISH disks) on the AMIGA, /pcfs or MTOOLS on the Sun. Works fine (and AMIGA-DOS text files are the same format as UNIX, which also makes things easier). I always format my MS-DOS disks on the AMIGA, since it ensures that they are formatted as 720K.
