I have uploaded 'dips.tar' to nova archive server at

	nova.cc.purdue.edu:/pub/next/submissions

Dips is a public domain interactive image processing program.  In this
distribution, you'll find dips (command line version), gui_dips (gui version) 
and hips (hips image display).  The program works on HIPS images and may
write to TIFF or HIPS format.

Feel free to try it out, improve on it, expand it.  Let me know if
you like it, how it's been improved etc.
