There have been several more requests lately for "N-up" PostScript
filters, so I've redeposited "quarto" to pub/next/submissions on
sonata.cc.purdue.edu and cs.orst.edu.  This probably isn't as fancy as
the psutils, but it is probably simpler to use.  The README file:

"quarto" is a filter that takes EPS PostScript files and:

    lists pages:   quarto -l file.ps
    reorder pages: quarto -p1,2,6-8 ...      select pages
                   quarto -p odd ...         print odd-numbered pages
                   quarto -r -p odd...         . . .   in reverse order        

    prints n-up:   quarto -2 ... | lpr       2 mini pages per sheet
                                             (N=2,3,4,6,8,9)
    signatures:    quarto -2 -S 8 ...        page order appropriate for 

                                             books of 8-sheet signatures

Someone had placed an older version on the archives.  This one fixes a
bug involving nested PostScript documents, and includes an option for
printing books in signatures.
