mach IO error ?????

Hello, NeXTers,

Does somebody have a clue on the following message in /usr/adm/messages:

Jan  4 14:14:11 dutiea mach: IO error on pagein: error = 22.
Jan  4 14:14:11 dutiea last message repeated 2 times

When I tried to login, the system hang completely. Remote login was possible, but killing the loginwindow process didn't help - a new process appeared but the login window didn't move.

P.S. Yes, I've checked Librarian.
