We have just purchased a NeXT CD ROM player and I cannot seem to get it to be  
recognized.  It's set to SCSI id 5 I get a the following message at boot up:
 
Sony CD ROM  sd1 at sc0 at target 5
SD1 UNIT ATTENTION
Waiting for drive to come ready.....

and then continues skipping over the CD ROM player.  Any thought would be  
appreciated.  Thanks.
