     Unfortunately, I can't provide any feedback.  I, too, am looking at the
Penril.  However, two messages I've sent to "modemdeal@penril.com" have,
to-date, gone unreplied to.  The first I sent over a week ago.  The second
about 4-5 days ago.  I don't know if Penril has taken an extended leave of
absence for the holidays or if my queries really are being ignored. 
Either way, this silence has made me wonder whether or not to seriously
consider the Alliance as my next modem to purchase.
     Anyone else having better luck?
