Hi Folks, I'm a relatively new NeXT user who is having BIG problems copying files to DOS floppies for transfer to a PeeCee. Hopefully someone can help enlighten me: 1. If files are copied to floppy, Processes panel reports "Invalid argument". The permissions on all these files seem to be fine (ie. r and w for me). 2. If I try and initialize a DOS disk then everything seems to go fine until the end when BuildDOS reports that the disk is damaged and attempts to repair it. Sometimes the system can then become unstable and generate Internal Error 10 or 11 [what do these mean ?] 3. If I try to save a WriteNow file directly onto said DOS floppy it reports that I have insufficient privilege. I think I do. Is this a hardware of software problem ? How is it fixed ? All help appreciated... this is driving me crazy.... Please Email directly. Thanks in advance, Marcus Tate ---- MCTATE@AC.DAL.CA Dept. Earth Sci. Dalhousie Univ. Halifax, NS. PS. No flames for blatant stupidity on my part ;-)
