I am always very careful about always selecting 0R 0G 0B 0A when I want something transparent. I know this because I always have to think about it; in the Persistence of Vision raytracer (which I use a lot), one has to use 1R 1G 1B 1A to get something transparent. So every time I have this situation I must remember which program I am using. Icon still insists on changing alpha to white or black, depending. Also, irritatingly enough, after I create an image with alpha in Icon (and save with alpha, thank you) and try to import it into another picture, Icon refuses to recognize the alpha values that I saved. Rrrrrr. Regards and Merry Winter Solstice, David K. Drum uc512052@mizzou1.missouri.edu "I will only use a raytracer to which I can obtain the source code!"
