Sure, unix weenies like you and I >know about PA, but most of the people NeXT is trying to sell computers Funny you should mention name recognition. I just got back from the hospital (had to get an MRI done on my knee-- "Does this hurt?" "OwOwOwOwOw!!!" "Well, there's nothing on the X-rays.. Take these pills and go get an MRI done") and while I was waiting (phew, I still have wiffs of Odor de hospital) I was browsing through the regular cheesy magazines that doctors have (you know, Time, people, all about 5 months out of date...) and I came across a 5 page (really, 10, if you count both sides) insert (nice, glossy paper) from HP! True, most of it was about their new PC prices (not bad--cheap 486's are here to stay) and the new LJ4 (*excellent*--buy one *right now*) but there was a 1/2 a page on the PA. It was really toned down (none of this, "super fast new.." stuff) but it was there. Wish I knew what mag it was.. >perhaps that's one of the reasons why NS486 is going to be a smashing >sucess compared to NeXTstations. I like the stations, it's too bad they're only slightly (memory) more expandable than the 128k mac a friend of mine has sitting in his closet. -- "If you can't eat sand, why the hell are you living in a desert?"
