Filtering with NewsGrazer

I would like to set up NewsGrazer (version 71.9) to ignore ALL followup  
postings.  It would appear to me that the best way to do this would be to  
filter anything beginning with "Re:".  Unfortunately, NG seems to remove  
any leading "Re:" before checking against the filter.  Has anybody found a  
way around this problem?
