Major Uh-oh...

You did't have him put the directory called /NextCD on your disk did you?

In the recent issue of NeXTwatch (nextwatch@skylee.com), p. 3, they say  
that you should NOT, EVER EVER EVER EVER create a directory on your hard  
disk called /NextCD because the /etc/rc.boot file will think the hard disk  
is a CD-ROM and mount it read-only.  As of late, there is no easy way to  
fix this problem.  (I didn't quote the article exactly because I'm  
paranoid of copyright laws :-))
