Well, I believe that *manufactures* had shipments of the PowerPC much earlier,  
and I have confirmed reports of there being a PowerPC NeXT box (though I hadn't  
heard it was publicly seen).  The similarity to the 88110 bodes in its favor.   
Due to Mach and the FSF, it's fairly easy to get *something* running on a new  
box.  It's getting -everything- to work -reliably- that takes up all the time.
