I would appreciate any info on how the NeXTstation machines power down once the power key has been pressed. The reason for my query is that my station no longer seems to make that characteristic "snap" when it powers down. I had a motherboard that went bad that exhibited the same symptoms before it bought the farm and I'm praying that it's not the same thing again. I dought that the machine is getting bad power because it's hooked up to an UPS which I know to be in proper working order. Any info is greatly appreciated... -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Daren Patel -- darenp@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu -- The University of Texas at Austin -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
