Printing Even or Odd Pages using dvips

I know that this has come up before, but I couldn't find any mention of
it in the FAQ on nova and couldn't remember what the resolution of the problem
was.
I need to be able to print just the even or the odd pages of a long
dvi file (so that I can Xerox double-sided copies) and this option does not
seem to be available in dvips. Is there a header file that I can load which
will redefine the showpage command so that it only prints the even or odd
pages?
I am sure that this can be done, but I don't want to have to write the
PostScript header myself if someone else has already done it. If someone has
done this, I would appreciate getting a copy of the header file that you use.

	Yours,

	Robert Bryant
