Attention all would-be NeXT owners:

I am planning on selling my NeXTCube system. The system is less than one
year old and is currently configured as a stand-alone Desktop Publishing
Machine *and* a NeXT Configuration Server.

The NeXT System is basically as follows:

	68040 NeXTCube w/24 MB RAM
	17" Megapixel Display (no mic)
Original Keyboard (with the | key where it belongs)
660 MB Internal Maxtor Hard Drive
256 MB Internal Canon Magneto-Optical Drive
2 System ODs, 2 Extra ODs
	NeXTStep Release 2.1 Extended
Dove Fax Modem (seemless operation from day 1 on both send and receive)

	FrameMaker 2.0d (Optical)
		(upgrade to 3.0 for $100)
	TopDraw 1.0	(Optical)
	T/Maker ClickArt(Optical)
SoftPC (floppy, but it's already installed)

Adobe Type Library & Adobe Typeset I
Misc. P/D & Shareware Type 1 PostScript Fonts
Mathematica (Version 1--Version 2 when available)
Licensed to use Allegro Common Lisp and Sybase when available
(Already sent for, and would pass along)
Improv (well, still waiting, but I'd pass that along too)

	NeXT 400DPI Laser Printer

X11R4 (MouseX) Pre-installed with misc. ported X software
Misc. P/D & Shareware programs from the NeXT archives
(almost all of them from Purdue)

*ALL* original boxesd, packing and manuals.

The printer is currently on its second toner cartridge.

The system has performed solidly and flawlessly for me.

I am asking all seriously interested people to E-Mail me to discuss price
and shipping terms. I'm willing to sell the system to any person from any
country. I am also willing to piece the system out, but only to a
certain extent (i.e., take out some memory, the hard drive, or sell
some software by itself).

Beware: This system will not be cheap. If you're looking for a $3000
bargain on a Cube, this is not it. I plan on beating the Educational
Pricing for this system, but I do not intend to lose a lot of money on
it.

I will try to custom-configure the system for whoever buys it, but I'm
limited by the hardware and software listed above (I can re-format the
drive, alter the partition info, ship blank ODs, etc). Just ask, and
I'll try.

To answer the question I'm bound to be hit with: Why am I selling it?
I love this machine, and don't want to lose it. However, recent events
have forced me to come up with some large sums of money, and the Cube
is the only thing I have left that's worth enough.

Thank you,
Michael D. Callaghan
