Hello Netland: I need to contact the authors of the NeXTSTEP applications "BlastApp", "GatorFTP", and "Fred". Anybody know how I can reach them? Thanks -- Mike Shebanek Computing and Communications University of California, Riverside Riverside, CA 92521 Internet mikes@velo.ucr.edu (NeXTMail Accepted) Phone (909) 787-3555

OK, I've created this pretty cool icon for this hack of mine. The problem is that the background isn't the right color...or rather, that it has color (white) at all. I'd like to achieve the same translucent effect that some icons (writenow, concurrence to name a couple) manage to achieve. I've tried endlessly by mucking with the colors in IconBuilder, in which the icon was created. I can't find my NeXTWorld issue discussing icon design. Could someone clue me in? thanks, anwar -- Anwar Mohammed <anwar+@cs.cmu.edu> Vox:(412) 268-3043 Fax:(412) 361-2021 ASAP PhD SCS CMU
