Has anoyone had trouble with the Tekton font located on Sonata? (/pub/next/graphics/fonts/Tekton.tar.Z) I've downloaded all the fonts from there, plus installed quite a few of my own, but is the only one that seems to give me problems. Everytime I attempt to use it, I end up with 12-point Helvetica, regardless of the selected point size. I know the .afm is working, because although the charectors are in 12-point type, the relative kerning of the cursor acts as though I were printing the correct size letters. (ie. If I type "xyzzy" with Tekton 64-point, "xyzzy" appears as 12-poin Helvi, but the cursor is halfway down the screen) All the other fonts work fine, I've even re-downloaded this sucker several times to make sure evything was ok. If anyone has a working copy, tell me how you installed it! (or if you are extremely cheery then please NeXTmail a copy over_) Thanks, David L. Leon dleon@seas.smu.edu .

David Leon writes > Has anoyone had trouble with the Tekton font located on Sonata? Be aware that not only is this font a blatant ripoff of the font "Tekton" sold by Adobe Systems Incorporated, this font violates the trademark of the name "Tekton" and is ILLEGAL. It should be removed from the archives. Many typefaces have had their face names trademarked by Adobe Systems Incorporated and/or the typefaces foundaries that own the typefaces and any unauthorized use of those trademarked names is illegal. -- Scott Byer NeXTMail: byer@mv.us.adobe.com Adobe Systems Incorporated These are *my* opinions, and 1585 Charleston Road, P.O.
