 I have some trouble with the services menu with the 
Librarian headings. First, I have the choice "Jot selection in 
Bible", although I removed the Bible some months ago. How 
do I change this? 

Second, jotting a selection simply creates a new ascii file 
called "Bible". Totally useless. 

Third, I can "Search in Bible" but there is no bible. How can
I switch to various items on my real bookshelf? Note that I have 
no bookshelf with the name "Bible".

Are there ANY docs concerning Librarian 3.0? It might be useful
but at present it's a nuisance.

Open ~/.NeXT/services/Librarian in Edit; you will see which lines control  
the individual Target services.  Just Edit them out.  You put them there  
by using Librarian's Target Inspector (Services option).

There is a chapter in the printed User Guide on Librarian.
